	Who are we? We are Mike and Melodie "D" Iverson, people who enjoy sharing a glass of wine with our friends. Our affair with wine started in the '80's. As our exposure to wines grew, we started searching for quality wines without pretense. That quest led us to the Fair Play region. For nearly three years, we spent our weekends tasting and learning about Sierra Foothill wines.  By 2000 we hadmoved to Fair Play and had begun planting our vineyards.  We bottled our first wines in 2005: Sauvignon Blanc,Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Barbera, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. We harvested our first estate crop in 2007 and have been producing amazing wines ever since. We have been in the tasting room every weekend for the last 17 years. We made the difficult decision to transition into retirement in early 2018. As fate would have it, the week before we planned to put the winery on the market our neighbors the Maleks stopped by to pickup their wine club release and were looking for advice regarding developing a vineyard and winery on their next door property. After listening to their trials and tribulations we offered to sell them our winery, After the shock wore off we commited to a purchase deal which would be best for all.		Our Wines We began our wine making adventure in 2004 with the help of enologist Rich Gilpin.  Our goal was to produce wines that are soft on the palate yet full bodied making them ready to drink with or without a meal.
